Even though the Deadpool & Wolverine movie was somewhat of a fan service, it was still great fun. And it is most likely a great addition to the Deadpool saga. However, to top that, Ryan Reynolds is looking to bring a Deadpool and X-Men movie to life. And apparently, he is in the early stages of this endeavour.

Deadpool And X-Men Project In The Works
According to THR, Deadpool would appear in Reynolds’ ensemble movie, but not as the primary character. Rather, three or four other X-Men characters would take centre stage alongside him.
This movie appears to be on the same path as Deadpool & Wolverine, although being distinct from the X-Men picture Hunger Games, which writer Michael Lesslie is now working on. Deadpool & Wolverine began as a low-budget road trip picture, and Reynolds is renowned for developing his ideas independently for a considerable amount of time before submitting them to Marvel.
Additionally, there have been previous rumours that Ryan Reynolds is working on a Deadpool “ensemble” film. Right now, nobody knows which X-Men might be joining Deadpool. Deadpool is accustomed to working with the team, though, and has already featured some of the team’s members and adversaries in his films, such as Wolverine, Colossus, Sabertooth, Pyro, and even Channing Tatum’s Gambit.
