Respawn Entertainment is known for making great games. With games like Apex Legends and the Star Wars Jedi series under their belt, there should be no question about that. Scrapped Unannounced Game From Respawn Entertainment
In a LinkedIn post on Wednesday, Emilee Evans, the former production coordinator for Respawn, revealed that the “unannounced incubation project”. She had been working on it for the previous year. The news was that it had been abandoned this week. Although the project’s exact nature is unknown, a job posting for Respawn’s incubation team suggested that it was a multiplayer FPS.
Although the unannounced game wasn’t necessarily Titanfall 3, reports suggested that Respawn was developing a game set in the Titanfall universe. As of 2023, Titanfall director Steve Fukuda was also leading a small team on a project. That project had nothing to do with Titanfall. It’s unknown which of these projects the recently canceled game was.
Evans also backed the development of an unreleased Star Wars first-person shooter game and the VR game Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, according to her LinkedIn profile. Respawn saw layoffs and the cancellation of its Star Wars First Person Shooter. This was supposed to have a Mandalorian protagonist, last year.
