Baldur’s Gate 3 was highly successful when it came and is regarded as one of the best RPGs ever made. However, the content didn’t end at release and Baldur’s Gate 3 will receive much more stuff in Patch 7. And this hugely anticipated patch will be available this week.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7
The studio’s Twitter page posted a video of CEO Swen Vincke confirming the release date at PAX West. “Patch 7 is coming out next week,” he remarked last week. Patch 7’s console and Mac versions have yet to be released, despite Larian earlier stating that they will be available in September.
Vincke said, “We’ll start with the PC version.” The console version will be released later because it must go through several submission processes.
Patch 7 looks to add and change a lot in Baldur’s Gate 3, with the most notable inclusion being official mod compatibility for both PC and console. It will most likely be the final big update for Baldur’s Gate 3, as Vincke stated in June 2024 that he and the crew “really want to move forward and do new things,” therefore users “will see the level of support reduced to really critical bug fixes.”
