Black Panther was a hit among fans and also became somewhat of a cultural movement. Even after the death of the lead, Chadwick Boseman, the second film remained a sequel. And now, a Black Panther 3 is well on its way as revealed by Marvel president Kevin Feige and vice-president of production and development Nate Moore.

This comeback was also mentioned in passing by Feige and Louis D’Esposito, co-president of Marvel Studios. Washington, the star of Gladiator 2, initially let slip In November, Marvel was at least considering a third movie. They said that Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther and its sequel, was scripting a role for him in a new film.
Up to Feige’s modest official statement, nothing more was announced about it, but it will probably be some time before more information becomes available.
Letitia Wright’s character Shuri, T’Challa’s younger sister, assumed the mantle of the Black Panther in Black Panther 3. She is probably going to carry on that narrative in the third movie. However, more plot points might be established there as Disney+ is also getting an animated series called Eyes of Wakanda.
