Blackpink’s Jennie latest single, Mantra, has been ruled ineligible for broadcast by KBS. According to the music review results announced on October 23, KBS deemed the song unsuitable due to lyrics. It violates Article 46 of the Korea Broadcasting Deliberation Regulations, restricting advertising effects by mentioning specific product brands.

While the song cannot currently be played on KBS TV and radio programs, adjustments to the lyrics can allow for a re-review. Jennie released Mantra on October 11, a song that carries a powerful message about self-love and mutual support, while also showcasing her signature style and presence.

This is Jennie’s first solo release since her special single You & Me in October 2023. Fans have eagerly awaited her comeback, and she didn’t disappoint. She performed Mantra on Mnet’s M Countdown on October 17 and MBC’s Show! Music Core on October 19, earning praise from her fanbase. Through this release, Jennie continues to establish herself as a successful solo artist outside her role in BLACKPINK.
