A complaint was filed on June 14th at the Songpa Police Station, accusing these fans of violating South Korea’s Sexual Violence Punishment Act. The accuser, identified as Mr A, expressed outrage over the incident in an online post. “I understand Jin wanted to connect with fans after his service,” Mr. A stated, “but attempting to kiss him is clearly sexual harassment. I filed a complaint for indecent assault in a crowded place.”
The incident has sparked anger and disappointment among fans worldwide. Many have voiced their support for Mr A’s complaint, with comments like “This is unacceptable behaviour” and “Who would take advantage of such a kind gesture?”
