All four remaining members of the global pop sensation BTS have officially commenced their mandatory military service in South Korea. Both V and RM reported to the Nonsan Training Center on December 11th. However, Jimin and Jungkook joined the Army 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center on December 12th.

V and RM will undergo basic military training at the Nonsan Training Center before being assigned to their respective units. V has expressed his desire to serve in the Army Capital Defense Command’s special mission unit, while RM is expected to be assigned to a unit based on his skills and talents. Jimin and Jungkook will reunite with their eldest bandmate, Jin, at the Army 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center. Jin, who enlisted in December 2022, is currently serving as an assistant instructor at the training center. The reunion of the three BTS members as trainees and teaching assistants will undoubtedly be a memorable moment for both the group and their fans.

With all seven members now serving in the military, BTS’s hiatus will extend until at least June 2025. The exact timing of their reunion will depend on the completion of their respective military service terms. However, fans can look forward to the group’s eventual return to the stage and the continuation of their successful music career.
