There is not much time left for CoD Black Ops 6 to come out. If the campaign is anything like the Cold War, we know it will be good. However, the main focus is on multiplayer with the addition of omnidirectional movement. Anyway, there is one thing that has been labelled as pay-to-win by some players while it is not.

CoD Black Ops 6 Spatial Sound

Players will be able to utilize spatial audio in Black Ops 6. Many franchise fans are unhappy with this fairly expensive add-on.

Some CoD enthusiasts have spread the myth that the mechanic is completely hidden behind a paywall, however that is untrue. A “universal” profile for spatial audio will be available to all Black Ops 6 players. This basically indicates that its settings are locked and preset.

A customized profile is what the premium add-on provides. The Call of Duty blog provided an explanation of this. One post stated, “A Universal HRTF profile designed especially for the Call of Duty soundscape is included as part of the game’s Enhanced Headphone Mode.”

Even still, it is obvious that paying for the customized profile will offer a benefit, but possibly not as great as many initially believed.
