CoD Warzone Mobile – FOV Modifiers
Activision posted a message that well-known mobile game content creator Yanrique Wright shared. It stated, “We’ll be updating our security policy closer to launch, but generally that’s not going to say explicitly we will ban you for modifying FOV files.” But it will probably state that altering any game file—especially one that might provide an advantage—may result in a ban or other consequences.
In the run-up to the worldwide launch, CoD Warzone Mobile discusses implementing more stringent security procedures that might result in the suspension of 120FOV file modifications and users.
FOV Modifiers can give players a huge advantage. It allows players to see more of the screen. This practice is already banned on competitive FPS games on PC and Consoles. Most developers chose the FOV in the range of 70-90, getting a middle ground between performance and view. Some people can go higher, like 120 FOV. This does a serious hit to the performance but a lot people are willing to sacrifice it.
