According to CD Projekt RED, Nvidia’s DLSS will be included in Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2. The DLSS will enable the game to function even better on the Switch 2. It will be interesting to compare the game launches alongside the console on June 5th.
CD Projekt RED discussed the new technology in an interview with Digital Foundry. They said, “We’re employing a version of DLSS available for Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, powered by Nvidia’s Tensor cores. In all four modes—handheld, docked, and the performance and quality variations of each—the game makes use of DLSS.
Furthermore, unlike The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the developers later told Metro that the game’s Nintendo Switch 2 port was done internally.
