Kojima Productions has officially announced that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will launch worldwide on June 26, 2025. The reveal occurred during the “PlayStation® Presents Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Special Panel” at SXSW 2025. Players who purchase the Collector’s Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition will gain early access on June 24. Pre-orders for all editions will open on March 17.
Collector’s and Digital Deluxe Editions
The Collector’s Edition includes:
- 48-hour early access
- Exclusive in-game items
- Magellan Man statue
- Dollman figurine
- Art cards
- A letter from Hideo Kojima
- Collector’s box
The Digital Deluxe Edition offers early access and special in-game content. All pre-orders will also come with four exclusive in-game items.
World Tour Concerts
Kojima Productions has also announced the “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Strands of Harmony World Tour.” The concert series will run from November 8, 2025 (Sydney) to March 26, 2026 (Toronto), with stops in multiple countries, including the UK, US, China, Japan, and Germany.

The game stars Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Troy Baker, Elle Fanning, Nicolas Winding Refn, and more. The new trailer features “To The Wilder” by Woodkid.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set to launch exclusively for PlayStation 5.
