Diablo 4 has been a great success for Blizzard Entertainment. Especially considering the last game, Diablo Immortal was a critical failure. The game is available on multiple platforms. Activision Blizzard reported that Diablo 4 sold $666 million in its first five days of availability for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox systems in early June. Microsoft had a legal dispute with the US Federal Trade Commission, which was attempting to halt its $69 billion Activision Blizzard acquisition due to antitrust concerns.
Xbox CEO Phil Spencer intends to make Activision Blizzard’s beloved library of games, including Overwatch, Diablo, and Call of Duty, available in Game Pass. We may not have the game this soon but it is now a possibility and we are now as closer as ever to getting the game on the Xbox Game Pass.
