Dino Crisis is a franchise that has faded into obscurity. Not many people remember it nowadays, and even the developers are doing nothing with the series. The series is not going to get any new games soon. However, if you want to get your hands on this classic survival horror game, now is your time.

Dino Crisis On PlayStation Plus Classics

Dino Crisis features every aspect that appeals to aficionados of the survival horror subgenre. Along with difficult foes, brain-twisting riddles, and limited supplies, players must also worry about coming under attack by dinosaurs.

Even if the series started to shift from horror to action the following year, the original Dino Crisis is still regarded favorably after all this time. Though it may not be the exact remake that enthusiasts have been waiting for, it is nevertheless fantastic that we will be able to play this Capcom classic in gorgeous HD on contemporary PlayStation systems. Being a little too hopeful, this might be Capcom experimenting with the much-needed remake.

It’s worth noting that if you had previously purchased either of the games digitally via the PS Store on PS3, they will be available at no cost even if you don’t have a PS Plus subscription.

Dino Crisis and Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain will be available on Tuesday, 1 October 2024 for those who subscribe to the PlayStation Plus Premium tier.
