As we all know TikTok ban in the USA. However, unexpectedly, the ban was lifted before even 1 day could pass on the ban. Donald Trump let the app continue operating in the country because the USA owned 50% of the platform. Furthermore, Elon Musk also had some thoughts on how the app operated.

Elon Musk On TikTok Ban Reversal
“I have been against a TikTok ban for a long time because it goes against freedom of speech,” he wrote in a post on X. Nevertheless, it is unfair that TikTok is permitted to operate in America but X is prohibited from doing so in China. There must be a change.
He also said “In my opinion, TikTok should not be banned in the USA. He also added even though such a ban may benefit the X platform. Doing so would be contrary to freedom of speech and expression. It is not what America stands for.”
Musk had argued against the TikTok ban on April 19, claiming that X would have profited from it.
Before this, the Chinese app for short-form video services thanked Trump for “providing the necessary clarity and assurance,” Following Trump’s promise to restore access to TikTok, they confirmed that they are currently working to restore service in the United States.
