Castles is a spiritual successor to Fallout Shelter, with players acting as the Hand of the King. Their role is to oversee the castle and decide on the best course of action. Players can select rulers and customise their castles.
Aside from building and managing castles, players can explore the outer world for new resources, gear, and artefacts. The game also has a roguelike mode, in which players face waves of adversaries with increasing difficulty and higher rewards.
