Grand Theft Auto is one of the most modded video game series. However, Take Two, the Rockstar parent company has been taking action against most mods. This action led to the removal of many mods such as graphics mod for the OG trilogy and even recently, The Liberty City Preservation Project. However, the new GTA Vice City Next-Gen is still up, but I reckon, not for long.

GTA Vice City: Next-Gen Mod
Originally requiring users to have a copy of GTA 4, this Revolution Team project integrated Vice City’s cutscenes, missions, and world into GTA 4’s engine.
The development team claimed that Take-Two had taken down its YouTube channel. This resulted in the decision to revise the mod’s requirement and the establishment of a new channel that contains the mod’s debut video. The mod’s original requirement was that GTA 4 be owned. The mod can now be downloaded and used as a stand-alone game as that prerequisite has been removed.
Two days prior to the project’s release, Take-Two Interactive removed the team’s channel.
In less than a day, the teaser had over 100,000 views. Regretfully, it cannot be restored in any way.
