While promoting the title track “Super Lady,” Soyeon explained her preference for regular albums over mini-albums, citing the opportunity to showcase a wider range of styles and stories. However, she expressed frustration with the limitations imposed by the review process.
Referencing the pre-released song “Wife,” which sparked controversy for its bold lyrics, Soyeon playfully noted that it managed to pass MBC’s review, unlike other tracks. “Wife” was deemed unfit for broadcast by KBS due to its provocative nature, though (G)I-DLE remained true to their vision and kept the original lyrics.
