Yup, The day is here. No one believed that this day would ever come but here we are—finally, some actual info from Rockstar. Rockstar Games just made an official GTA 6 Announcement on Twitter. However, instead of the last dozen times, we said, you can trust this one.

GTA 6 Official Announcement
The company verified early-November speculations that it would provide an official first look at the game the following month. The information was in a post on the Rockstar Newswire. While not providing the complete unveiling for the game as anticipated, Rockstar stated that it was “very excited” to release Grand Theft Auto 6 finally. “We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto,” it read. “We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you.”
Maybe the trailer for GTA 6 will be released on the same day that the studio celebrates its 25th anniversary. However, December 7th is the day of the Game Awards, so that presents another possibility for the trailer’s release. Although Rockstar has not yet confirmed, GTA 6’s presence at the awards show wouldn’t be out of place considering that it often has a tonne of new trailers and announcements from the top developers.
Since publisher Take-Two Interactive predicted huge financial gains in that fiscal year that would be difficult to accomplish without the boost from the immensely profitable series, a release window between April 2024 and March 2025 has been conjectured since early in 2023.
