South Korean actress Han So-hee’s agency, 9 Ato Entertainment to take Legal action against malicious commenters. They released a statement on March 18th addressing the mental toll of online rumours and negativity.
“While Han So-hee appreciates the public’s interest that comes with being an actress, the recent surge of speculative posts and malicious comments has taken a significant mental strain,” the statement read. “She is, after all, a human being before she is a celebrity.”
The agency went on to declare strong legal action against creators and distributors of malicious content that damaged Han So-hee’s reputation. “We will pursue legal action regardless of the severity of the content,” they emphasized.
This announcement comes after Han So-hee addressed dating rumours with actor Ryu Jun-yeol on her blog on March 16th. The situation sparked online criticism and speculation, leading to the current measures from her agency.
9 Ato Entertainment concluded the statement by acknowledging the impact on fans and expressing their commitment to protect Han So-hee. “We understand the concerns this situation has caused, and we will strive to move forward in a positive direction.”
