Resistance was a series of games released for Playstation 3. The series had 3 games on the platforms and that’s it. While players praised the games, the series never got a new entry. And now in an interview, Insomniac’s founder revealed that they had a pitch for Resistance 4.

Resistance 4
After leading the studio for 30 years, Ted Price announced his retirement. When asked if he had a favourite game that was proposed but never created, he replied that it was “Resistance 4” during a recent conversation with Kinda Funny Games.
Price claims that he pitched that game along with the developers. It was a great idea, but it didn’t work out because of timing and market potential. He added that the Insomniac team was passionate about extending the story further.
After working on the Ratchet and Clank games, Insomniac created the Resistance series of first-person shooters. In 1951, aliens overrun the United Kingdom in this alternate history.
After more than 30 years at Insomniac Games, Price revealed earlier this year that he would be retiring. In order to follow him, he has appointed Jen Huang, Ryan Schneider, and Chad Dezern as Co-Studio Heads.
