iPhone 16 – Capture Button
Bloomberg claims that the iPhone 16’s Capture Button will be a capacitive button with haptic feedback. This indicates that it won’t be a physical button but will react tactilely to touch. The button is anticipated to have a force sensor that can distinguish between various pressure levels. Pressing it lets you turn on the camera and begin shooting videos. The ability to transition between photo and video modes based on pressure levels may also be available to users.
According to reports, Apple has been testing with numerous iPhone 16 prototypes, experimenting with different hues and small design changes. It is anticipated that the “midnight prototype,” or final design, will have a larger Action Button in addition to the Capture Button. The iPhone 16’s camera module may be arranged vertically and come in two different forms.
Early prototypes had a single volume button at first, but Apple eventually switched to mechanical buttons in response to technical difficulties. There’s also conjecture that a new Action Button may take the place of the standard iPhone models’ mute switch.
