Harry Potter TV Series Casting And Dumbledore
According to reports, HBO has been searching for a new Dumbledore for a while, but it seems the hunt is over. Lithgow acknowledged accepting the part in an interview with ScreenRant, stating that it will be the “last chapter” of his life.
John claimed that it was difficult to decide when he received a call for yet another picture at the Sundance Picture Festival. “I am excited,” he continues. “Several amazing people are returning to Harry Potter. Although HBO and Warner Bros. have not yet confirmed Lithgow’s appointment, this is the first casting confirmation for the next Harry Potter TV series, and it is also not officially official yet.
With a brand-new cast portraying well-known characters like Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Harry Potter, and the rest of the Hogwarts school, HBO intends to adapt all of J.K. Rowling’s books for television. Rowling, Ruth Kenley-Letts, and Neil Blair will all be executive producers.
