The success of Jujutsu Kaisen and other titles shows the steady rise of manga as a favourite among readers in the U.S. Moreover, titles like Demon Slayer, One Piece, and Berserk remain staples, while newer works such as DAN DA DAN and Kagurabachi quickly gain popularity in U.S. audiences.
Circana Books, formerly NPD BookScan, tracks weekly point-of-sale data from 16,000 outlets. It includes online retailers, chain stores, and independent bookstores which cover about 85% of the U.S. trade print book market.
