Kim Se-Jeong to star in Historical drama “The Moon Flows Through This River“. As per her Agency Jellyfish Entertainment, she was offered to star in a historical drama. While no decision has been made, the agency expressed a positive outlook on the proposal.
MBC’s upcoming drama, The Moon Flows Through This River, is described as a historical drama version of the popular Secret Garden. If confirmed, Kim Se-jeong will take on the female lead role. Joining her in the male lead is actor Kang Tae-oh.
If she accepts the role, this would mark a reunion between Kim Se-Jeong and director Park Seon-ho, who previously worked together on the ENA drama “Office Matchmaking.” Their upcoming collaboration, “Drunken Romance,” is set to premiere on November 4th and also features actor Lee Jong-won.
Kim Se-jeong first gained widespread recognition in 2016 after placing second in the survival show “Produce 101.” She subsequently debuted as a member of the girl group I.O.I and later joined gugudan. In recent years, she has transitioned into acting, appearing in various dramas such as “School 2017,” and “Uncanny Counter”.
