This eye-catching laptop features a 17.3-inch Micro-LED display that’s almost transparent, showcasing a futuristic, bezel-less design. Imagine seeing your desk through your laptop!

This transparent display could be a game-changer for artists, allowing them to seamlessly overlay digital art on real-world objects for accurate replication.

Tech Specs: Lenovo highlights the advantages of Micro-LED technology used in this prototype: high contrast, impressive brightness (1000 nits), and rich colour saturation. They claim the peak brightness can even reach 3000 nits! However, other specifications remain under wraps.

Dynamic Display: Lenovo hints at a special layer that could transform the transparent display into a traditional opaque screen, offering users the flexibility to switch between modes.

Transparent Keyboard and Touchpad: Beyond the display, even the keyboard and touchpad are transparent, and made of touch-sensitive glass. This eliminates physical keys, potentially requiring AI assistance for user experience. The laptop also supports a Wacom-based stylus, allowing artists to turn the keyboard into a drawing canvas.

No Traditional Webcam: The camera is positioned behind the display, not facing the user. At MWC, Lenovo showcased its potential use for scanning objects and providing AI-generated information, similar to Google Lens.

Exciting Potential: While this is just a concept, it has generated substantial buzz at MWC. It’s a thought-provoking prototype showcasing the potential future of laptop design and user interaction.
