LotR Return To Moria

A notification on the Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria website disclosed that they are releasing the game on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S on Aug. 27 at a discounted price of $19.99 for a limited time. This coincides with a new version of the game called “The Golden Update,”. This update appears to be free on all platforms.

The Golden Update features a new sandbox mode, cross-platform play, new weapons and armour. It also includes new difficulty settings, building mechanic upgrades, new decorations, new music tracks, and a host of bug fixes.

On the Epic Games Store, it is presently rated 4.4 out of 5. Apparently, the difference in score is due to the free upgrades issued by developer Free Range Games, thus it stands to reason that the game will be even better if the new Golden Update is released.
