Mafia: The Old Country Release Leak

A Steam blog post outlining 2K and Hangar 13’s intentions for PAX East 2025 was found by Gematsu. The release date was unintentionally revealed in this thread. Gematsu supplied a screenshot of the blog article prior to the release date being scrubbed. Although it has since been removed.

A new gameplay clip will be unveiled at 2K and Hangar 13’s PAX East 2025 conference on May 8 at 11 AM PT/2 PM ET. Some of the developers will be available for attendees to meet. This includes figures such as Tomas Hrebicek, the cinematic director, Alex Cox, and studio president Nick Baynes. The release date will probably be announced during the panel.

Mafia: The Old Country is set in Sicily in the early 1900s and serves as a precursor to the first game in the series. More precisely, the game takes place in the made-up town of San Celeste, which is mentioned in Mafia: Definitive Edition and also appeared in Mafia 2.
