Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk In Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Ruffalo will return to his role as Bruce Banner in the eagerly awaited 2026 superhero sequel. This is according to a rumour from The Hollywood Reporter that neither Sony nor Marvel would comment on. In the meantime, it has been claimed that Michael Mando would return to his role as the Scorpion.
It appears doubtful that Ruffalo will reprise his role as The Hulk. He last portrayed this role in the 2022 Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Ruffalo was not one of the numerous names confirmed to be in Avengers: Doomsday, but Marvel has hinted that more announcements will be made soon, so maybe The Hulk will make an appearance in the movie.
What is certain is that Zendaya and Jacob Batalon will co-star with Tom Holland, who will return to his role as Spider-Man. Sadie Sink from Stranger Things and Jon Bernthal, who will return to his role as The Punisher, are among the newcomers. Although Marvel has not disclosed any narrative information, it appears that Brand New Day will take place before Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled for release in late 2026.
