The song holds deep meaning for Max, inspired by his real-life love story with his wife. “It’s about getting engaged after 4 months and married 5 months later,” he described. He was impressed by Heo Yun-jin’s talent during his visit to Korea last year. “She beautifully completed the song, and I’m grateful to have her on it,” he expressed.
“Love in Stereo” boasts 12 diverse tracks, including the global hit “IT’S YOU (feat. Keshi)” (over 100 million streams) and the US pop radio hit “GUCCI BAG.” Other tracks like “WASABI,” “STRINGS (feat. JVKE & Bazzi),” and “EDIE CELINE” showcase his musical range and even include a sweet song dedicated to his daughter.
To celebrate the album’s release, Max embarked on a solo tour spanning New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. K-pop fans are also treated to a special show on March 30th at Myeonghwa Live Hall in Seoul.
