Specifications
The Original Oculus Quest features a Snapdragon 835 processor. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64/128 internal Storage. A Qualcomm Adreno 540 GPU powers the graphics.
The Meta Quest 2 is an upgraded version of the Oculus Quest. Now its features a Snapdragon XR2 instead of the 835, 6GB Ram, and 128/256 internal storage.
The additional power in Quest 2 really comes in handy, especially for the Developers. Quest and Quest 2 both have hand-tracking features. For a while, this was a test option with the Quest; however, it is now a normal feature with the Quest 2
The Quest 2 also features 1920p resolution per eye with a 72hz refresh rate instead of 1080p. However, the device is capable of a 90hz refresh rate which the developers are still trying to unlock.
Meta Link has also exited beta and expanded its availability. This makes it considerably simpler to connect it to your PC and, if you like, play PC VR games through the Oculus store or through Steam.
Who Wins in the Meta Quest 2 vs Oculus Quest 2 fight?
it’s no surprise that Meta Quest 2 is the winner. Its features not just performance upgrades but better design, support for games, and user comfort. There is no reason to buy the Oculus Quest if you are looking for a new headset.
