However, Recently, Blizzard emphasized that utilizing any mods in Diablo IV is prohibited. Every mod, regardless of how mild its effects, is considered cheating and is subject to permanent account suspension.

Blizzard explicitly mentioned TurboHUD for Diablo IV, which increases customization choices for the game’s user interface. However, the mod doesn’t provide any player any unfair advantage. It can alter how players see the game map, resources, missed items, aspect names, and performance data by using a robust plugin manager. The mod isn’t free, though. It’s a paid service of 12 Dollars a month. This is even weirder since nearly all of the modes for any game are usually free.
Blizzard notes that any mod could negatively impact other players’ experiences because Diablo IV is an online game that everyone is playing. The same was true with Diablo III, which caused controversy over the game’s release more than ten years ago. And even after a decade, the game is still only online.
