Motorola is launching its new flagship phone, the Edge 50 Pro, on April 3rd. The phone will be available in India first, with details on a global launch still to come. In the US, the phone is expected to be called the Motorola Edge Plus (2024), while China might see it as the Motorola X50 Ultra. Here’s a quick look at the key features of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro:
- Display: 6.7-inch pOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It boasts a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and claims to be the first phone with a Pantone-validated display for accurate colours.
- Camera: Triple rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor, also Pantone-validated for true-to-life colours. Motorola is touting several new AI features for the camera, including an AI wallpaper generator, AI image enhancement, AI adaptive stabilization for sharper pictures, and auto-focus tracking.
Other expected specs include the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, a 13MP ultrawide camera, a 4,500mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
