Pokemon Go officially revealed the “Party Play” feature after just teasing one day ahead of teasing. As per the leaks, the new feature allows players to form a four-player party.

Furthermore, it seems that the number of trainers who can join a party may expand over time. Within these newly formed parties, trainers will be able to share their locations and engage in a collaborative gaming experience.

On October 11, 2023, the official Pokemon Go Twitter account teased the arrival of “Party Play” with an image. It showcases the silhouettes of four trainers with the hashtag #GOStartTheParty.

The next day, on October 12, 2023, the Pokemon Go official Twitter account unveiled the Party Play feature through a short video. The video commences with the unveiling of a wrapped gift, gradually revealing the Party Play logo in all its glory while promising that more details about the feature are imminent.

However, these exciting developments are still based on rumours nothing has been confirmed or teased by Niantic yet.

It is still unclear when the Party Play feature will be released.
