Luxury car brand Porsche is rumoured to be joining Fortnite in an upcoming collaboration. Known leaker Sam shared that Porsche may soon follow in the footsteps of other high-profile brands, like McLaren, Lamborghini, and Nike, by bringing exclusive in-game cosmetics to the Fortnite universe. While still speculative, this collaboration could feature the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, currently promoted for its 25th anniversary, adding to the buzz around this potential release.
we can expect the usual suite of Fortnite car cosmetics, including a custom car body, unique decals, wheels, and possibly more. Based on past collaborations, Porsche’s items might be available as standalone purchases or as part of a themed bundle in the Item Shop.
Leaks also suggest that Fortnite will soon add Disney’s Cars characters, expanding the range of branded vehicles in the game. As these brands have previously collaborated with Rocket League, players could soon see these popular vehicles imported from the game into Fortnite’s battle royale.
This collaboration with Porsche and Fortnite may come around December 4, 2024, during the Fortnite Chapter OG Season 2 remix or possibly as Chapter 6 kicks off. Leaks from recent Rocket League updates also show hints of two new vehicles, codenamed “Red” and “WW,” suggesting that at least one could indeed be the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
