Spider-Man 2 released for the PC last year, was a hit among the fans. However, if you want to play the game, you must own a PlayStation 5. However, it seems like this is going to change since modders are working towards an unofficial Spider-Man 2 PC port.

Spider-Man 2 PC Port
According to PC Focus’s X/Twitter report, the work on the port is going well. Except for some shader effects like reflections, the main menu appears to be nearly complete. The gameplay appears to be going well as well, though there is still a lot of work to be done.
The port is expected to be finished far sooner than the official one, given the current pace of development. The Spider-Man 2 PC port could be launched after April, though it’s more likely to be released towards the end of the year.
According to other information, the port is also already running at 60 FPS. There are still a lot of bugs and glitches that need to be addressed. The game is far from complete, however, the pace at which modders are working is commendable. Since Insomniac already stated the port will take around 2 years to develop, it seems like the unofficial version will be completed earlier. While this is in no way legal, some people will definitely take the risks to get Spider-Man 2 on their PC.
It does seem like Sony or Insomnian will surely come between this port. I’m sure they already know about the port and everything that is going around it. The modders are definitely not making money off of this. Lets just see how this goes.
