The YouTube channels of several K-Pop artists under Starship Entertainment, including MONSTA X, IVE, and CRAVITY, were hacked on March 4th. “We are currently working with YouTube to address the hacking of our artists’ official channels,” Starship Entertainment stated. “We are actively recovering the channels and will do our best to restore all content as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this unexpected situation.”
Earlier on the same day, fans noticed that the YouTube channel names for MONSTA X, IVE, and CRAVITY had been changed to “SpaceX” and all their videos were made private. These channels have millions of subscribers, with 2.57 million for MONSTA X, 3.37 million for IVE, and 790,000 for CRAVITY.
