To Your Eternity Season 3(Fumetsu no Anata e), based on Yoshitoki Ōima’s touching manga, returns for its third season on NHK General in October 2025. The show’s X account posted a beautiful teaser image, sparking excitement. Crunchyroll will stream the series worldwide so that fans everywhere can join the journey.
A New Adventure Awaits
Since its announcement in March 2023, Season 3 has fans eager for the “This World” arc. If you’re new, the story follows Fushi, a mysterious being who changes forms and learns about life, love, and loss. It’s a heartfelt tale with stunning visuals that pull you in.
For example, Season 2 aired on NHK Educational in October 2022. Crunchyroll streamed it globally (except Asia) and added an English dub. Fans loved its deep emotions and gorgeous art. Similarly, Season 1 hit screens in April 2021 after a delay from October 2020 due to COVID-19. Crunchyroll streamed it, too, and is building a big fanbase.

The Manga’s Magic
Yoshitoki Ōima’s manga began in November 2016 in Weekly Shōnen Magazine. Its first part ended in December 2019. Then, the second part ran from January 2020 to October 2022. Now, the third part, which Season 3 follows, started in January 2023. Kodansha USA Publishing shares it in English, describing it as:
“A boy meets a wolf in the Arctic. They bond to survive. Yet, both hide secrets, leading to a grand story of life, love, and rebirth.”
Indeed, the manga won Best Shōnen Manga at the 43rd Kodansha Manga Awards in 2019. It also made the American Library Association’s 2019 Great Graphic Novels for Teens list. Crunchyroll once offered it digitally in English alongside Japan’s release, but Kodansha titles left the platform in January 2023.
