Superman
This is one that fans won’t want to miss. The upcoming film stars Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor and David Corenswet as Clark Kent. Superman will confront one of his most recognizable enemies and come to terms with his alien ancestry. Recently, the Superman trailer was unveiled, and it looks fantastic. On July 11, the film will be released.
Until Dawn
Until Dawn, one of the greatest horror video games ever created will be adapted in 2025 under the direction of David F. Sandberg. The gameplay of Until Dawn centres on eight protagonists who are attacked and must attempt to survive on Blackwood Mountain. By following a fresh cast of characters who are resurrected every time they die, the film somewhat reverses the idea. On April 25, the film will be released.
Avatar: Fire and Ash
Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third instalment, centres on a new clan known as the “Ash People,” who live in volcanoes. The majority of the main cast members are back, including Stephen Lang as Colonel Miles Quaritch, Sigourney Weaver as Kiri, Zoe Saldaña as Neytiri, and Sam Worthington as Jake Sully. There are still many unanswered questions regarding the film’s subject matter, but it will undoubtedly have magnificent visuals. On December 19, the film will be released.
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery
Wake Up Dead Man, the third entry in Netflix’s popular Knives Out series will be released in 2025. With a revolving cast centred on Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc, the film, which was written and directed by Rian Johnson, adheres to the same pattern as the first two. With Mila Kunis as a police officer and Josh O’Connor and Josh Brolin playing priests, the latest appearance is equally star-studded. Glenn Close, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, and Cailee Spaeny make up the remaining cast. Although a release date has not yet been set, we know it will arrive in 2025.
Captain America: Brave New World
In Brave New World, the first new Marvel film to be released in 2025, Anthony Mackie’s character Sam Wilson will assume the role of Captain America. Along with a few well-known names, he is joined by a new Falcon, Danny Ramirez from Top Gun: Maverick. Blake, Tim Liv Tyler reprises her role as Betty Ross from The Incredible Hulk, and Nelson returns as Samuel Sterns, also known as Leader. In the meantime, Harrison Ford is replacing the late William Hurt in the role of Thaddeus Ross, also known as the Red Hulk. The movie is to be released on 14 February.
A Minecraft Movie
Jared Hess’s A Minecraft Movie, directed by Napoleon Dynamite, will bring the Overworld to the big screen. The film, which is based on the popular game, centres on a gang of outcasts who are taken to an odd, cubic universe. After adjusting to their new environment, the unusual crew must go on a magical adventure if they ever hope to return home. The film is scheduled for release on April 4.
