Physical copies are getting less and less popular as days go by. It is simply not as convenient as just downloading and installing. This is why some games nowadays don’t even get a physical release. While, some which do, only have about a couple hundred megabytes of data on the disk. This is why it seems, Walmart is getting rid of any physical Starfield copies.

Walmart Throwing Away Starfield Copies

He also added that purchases of Starfield will be prohibited after the price drops to three cents. Furthermore, he is pointing out that executives at Walmart have reportedly been discussing discontinuing physical game sales.
It goes without saying that now would be a good time to pick up a physical copy of Starfield, whether it’s from Walmart or not. So, if you intend to get it at Walmart, you should do so as soon as possible, if it’s not too late already. After today, not only will physical copies of the game become more difficult to locate, but their resale value will surely increase as people holding copies they no longer desire realize their Starfield disc has just increased in value.
