On the horror game’s tenth anniversary, the Alien: Isolation team revealed a note from the director in a recent post on X. The post indicated that a sequel is in fact being worked on. Regretfully, no further information on the sequel was provided; however, most people will find it sufficient that it is in development.
Alien Isolation is not just the best in the series but one of the best in the horror genre. Lets hope Alien Isolation 2 captures that same feeling. Even though Aliens is a fantastic movie and a brilliant follow-up, it’s always better when the humans are helpless against the xenomorphs, who are made to hunt and kill.
Alien: Isolation recognized this and had the player use cunning when moving, concealing, and even when to save the game. Let us see if it maintains the emphasis on smart players and an AI that is constantly evolving.
