COD Black Ops 2 on Game Pass
Phil Spencer stated that adding the classic COD games to the subscription service will probably take some time. Nevertheless, fans have reason to hope that it will happen sooner rather than later.
This is because when some Xbox fans attempted to purchase Call of Duty Black Ops 2, among other older Call of Duty games, a weird message displayed. Game Pass Tracker, a Twitter user, posted an update with the following message: “Looks like Activision is getting ready for something BIG! In fact, it “LOOKS” like #GamePass will offer access to all Call of Duty titles.
They went on to say: “Try buying Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and you’ll see this message ‘Receive this item for FREE with your gaming subscription! (Game Pass) Checkout and it’s yours FOREVER!’

According to reports, the agreement between Xbox and Activision Blizzard will be finished by 18 October. So it’s not completely impossible for the firms to begin developing new Xbox Game Pass items.
Fans should still be skeptical because neither side has officially verified nor refuted the reports. But it’s quite likely that the Xbox shop is telling the truth if it says that COD Black Ops 2 will be on Game Pass.
Fans will simply have to keep a lookout and cross their fingers that an announcement will be made. Either before or following the completion of the Xbox and Activision merger.
