Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
Microsoft has announced that Game Pass Ultimate would be increased to $19.99 per month in the United States, along with the introduction of a new Standard tier. Windows Central was the first to reveal that the pricing changes were true. They will be implemented alongside a variety of other modifications to the service beginning September 12, 2024.
Game Pass Ultimate has increased from 16.99 to 19.99 a month. PC game pass has gone to 11.99 and Core game pass 74.99 per year.
Furthermore, Xbox Game Pass for Console will no longer accept new customers. New users will instead be directed to a new Xbox Game Pass Standard tier, priced at $14.99 a month in the United States, which includes back catalogue games and multiplayer functionality but excludes day-one game releases and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Finally, Xbox will only enable users to pre-pay for an Xbox Game Pass for the Console for up to 13 months from now on. Users who have already paid for additional months will not be affected.
