In a major boost to India’s smart home market, Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has launched two new AI-powered devices – the Smart Air Purifier 4 series and the Robot Vacuum Mop-2i. These devices have been designed to help people breathe cleaner air and keep their homes clean and healthy. In this blog, we’ll discuss these devices’ top features and pricing to help you decide whether they’re worth investing in.

Smart Air Purifier 4 series


The Smart Air Purifier 4 series comes in two variants – the Smart Air Purifier 4 and the Smart Air Purifier 4C. Both devices come with high-precision laser sensors that detect particles as small as 0.3 microns, including PM2.5, formaldehyde, and other harmful pollutants. They also feature HEPA filters that remove up to 99.97% of particulate matter and have a CADR rating of 350-380m³/h, which makes them ideal for medium-sized rooms up to 409 sq. ft.

They can control the Smart Air Purifier 4 series using the Mi Home app and support voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It also features an OLED touch display that shows real-time air quality levels, temperature, and humidity. They can program the appliance to switch on automatically at predetermined periods of the day, such as when you get home from work.

It also features a child lock and a sleep mode that reduces noise levels to ensure a peaceful good night’s sleep. Smart Air Purifier 4C is priced at INR 6,499, while they priced the Smart Air Purifier 4 is at INR 9,999. The Smart Air Purifier 4 comes with added features such as a 360-degree air intake design that allows the device to filter the air from all sides, a PM2.5 sensor for real-time air quality monitoring, and a triple-layer filter that includes an activated carbon layer.

Robot Vacuum Mop-2i


The Robot Vacuum Mop-2i is Xiaomi’s latest addition to its lineup of smart home cleaning devices. It’s an AI-powered device that can sweep, vacuum, and mop your floors with just a touch of a button. The device features a 3D obstacle detection sensor that helps it navigate around tight corners and over obstacles with ease. It also features a 2-in-1 tank that can store both clean water and dirty water separately for optimal cleaning performance.

The Robot Vacuum Mop-2i’s AI-powered mapping system allows you to customize cleaning schedules and assign cleaning areas to the device. It also features a smart recharge and resume function that ensures the device automatically returns to its charging dock when the battery runs low and resumes cleaning from where it left off once recharged. The Robot Vacuum Mop-2i is INR 24,999, putting it in the same price range as other mid-range robot vacuum cleaners in the market.
