Yoo Ah-in was indicted without detention in June on charges of taking more than seven types of drugs, including propofol, cocaine, ketamine, marijuana, zolpidem, midazolam, and alprazolam.

The police had previously applied for an arrest warrant for him in May, but the court denied the request, citing a significant amount of evidence and Yoo Ah-in’s acknowledgement of the facts.

The prosecution has since reexamined the case and conducted a supplementary investigation. They reportedly obtained additional evidence through a search and seizure of an acquaintance’s home.

After completing the investigation, the prosecution is considering requesting another arrest warrant for Yoo Ah-in.

Yoo Ah-in is expected to be questioned about his alleged drug use and his relationship with other celebrities who have been linked to drug use.

The case against Yoo Ah-in is closely watched by the public, as he is one of South Korea’s most popular actors. His alleged drug use has damaged his reputation and could have a significant impact on his career.
