Roblox on Meta Quest VR
Roblox will be available on Meta’s Quest VR headsets starting with an open beta which will start to roll out during the next weeks. Meta says the default scripts created by users are actually enough to run VR devices. “They’ve discovered that those experiences typically run well in VR without modification, so they’re seeding the Roblox VR library with fantastic content from the start.”
This Quest version of Roblox will also feature cross-platform gaming, allowing you to interact with users on Xbox, mobile, and PC. Roblox has a lot of user-created experiences on the platform. However, for the beta test, the selected ones will be available to users. Roblox will be playable on Meta headsets like the Quest, Quest 2, and Quest Pro, and Meta says it will also work on the upcoming Quest 3.
You can even play Roblox right now on Meta Quest 2 VR by connecting the headset to your PC. However, this new Quest version should be easier to get up and running. Eventually, it will just be an app you can download from the Meta Quest Store making the experience way more easier to get into.
