This unique technology enables users to identify and locate songs merely by humming, singing, or playing a clip of the music. Sound Search, which was previously tested in a limited release, is now generally available. It uses AI technology to match the input sound to its large music catalogue.
Users can use the functionality by tapping the waveform icon in the YouTube Music search box. This new feature for YouTube Music seeks to transform the way people discover and enjoy music.
How To Use This Feature
- Open YouTube Music
- Go To The Search Bar
- Tap The Waveform Icon And Sing Or Hum
To achieve better outcomes, try humming or singing as correctly as possible.
The longer the audio sample, the higher the likelihood of discovering a match.
If you’re not sure about the melody, try humming a familiar part of the song.
