Good Games Released This Year

Nearly all of the games released this year were actually good. The better news is we had an abundance of games in different genres. Games like Diablo 4, the latest entry in the dungeon crawler series, was exceptionally great. Considering the release of Diablo Immortal was really controversial.

Legend of Zelda – Tears of the Kingdom and Final Fantasy 16 have also been great. The Zelda expanded on the previous title which was also excellent in it’s own right. The Final Fantasy on the other hand was made from the ground up.

Hogwarts Legacy did had some controversy before the launch but still ended up being a solid title. The game cemented it’s place as the best Harry Potter Universe game yet.

Jedi Survivor, while having some problems in PC, still ended up being a great souls like game.

Street Fighter 6 ended being the most popular fighting game of all time on steam. Nearly surpassing every fighting game in existence.

The Remakes

2023 made gaming good good and some thanks also goes to the remakes. Resident Evil 4 Remake is a good example. Changing a lot of things, modernizing. The game but still keeping the original spirit of the game alive. Dead Space had the story with it. Improving on everything and being a definitive version of the original.
