Actor Yoo Ah-in was hit with a bundle of money thrown by a citizen as he left the Seoul Central District Court on September 21. Yoo Ah-in had earlier apologized for causing concern and said that he would answer faithfully and speak honestly in court. After completing the detention examination and leaving the court, Yoo Ah-in answered questions from reporters before moving to the escort vehicle.
During this process, a citizen threw a bundle of money at Yoo Ah-in. Yoo Ah-in, who was moving while tied to a convoy rope, hurriedly boarded the vehicle with a stern expression as the bundle of money fell on his head.
The prosecution alleges that Yoo Ah-in habitually administered medical narcotics, including propofol, worth a total of 500 million won, a total of 200 times at hospitals around Seoul since 2020.
Whether or not Yoo Ah-in, who underwent a second detention review, will be detained will be decided as early as this afternoon.
