Cricket is the biggest sport on Earth. That is an actual fact since more than 100 million people watch the game live. So it makes sense if your brand gets advertised during it, it would really profitable. Adidas is by no means a small a brand. It has been known as the definitive shoe manufacturing brand for a time now. However, it the no. of Adidas fan are nothing compared to number cricket. So it is a good thing for Adidas that they will officially be providing the training kits for India from now on.

Adidas India Cooperation Agreement

This decision was made during preparation for their match against Australia in the World Test Championship final in England. Which is supposed to take place next month. The Indian cricket team unveiled its training uniform on Thursday with new sponsors Adidas.

Adidas, the sportswear manufacturing company and the BCCI have agreed to a new cooperation agreement.From now on, Adidas will be the only provider of all match, training and travel wear for the men’s, women’s, cricket teams. And this cooperation agreement will last till March 2028 according to a BCCI release. Beginning on June 7, the Indian team will wear their new uniforms for the first time against Australia.

Jay shah, the BCCI secretory stated multiple reasons for their decision. He exclaimed the brand had rich history and legacy. The brand had worldwide reach. All these reasons make Adidas a great choice. He also stated that this will play an important role in future success of the sport. Neelendra Singh, the General Manager of Adidas India, said the deal marked a “historic moment” for the brand.

The team and the brand already announced their collaboration. The indian cricket team can be seen in the Instagram and twitter posts wearing their new gear.
