Baldur’s Gate series is finally getting a new installment after 23 years named Baldur’s Gate 3. Baldur’s Gate is a fantasy RPG game series. Take a look at the Reveal Trailer.
There have been a lot of large-scale games coming out recently. With Legend of Zelda – Tears of the Kingdom, Elden Ring, and Horizon – Forbidden West, you can expect to dump nearly hundreds of hours. it’s nearly compulsory that your game gives hours of content to its players, otherwise, some people feel the price paid was not justified. Take a look at Gran Turismo 4 for example. Only three of the races in that game can take 72 hours of your life. Anyway back to the topic.

Baldur’s Gate Cutscenes Will Be Longer Than The Entirety GoT
It has been confirmed by Larian Studios, The developers of Baldur’s Gate 3 that the game will have nearly 170 hours of cutscenes alone. This is nearly two and a half times all the seasons of Game of Thrones combined. It is also confirmed that the game will have more dialogue than the 3 major Lord of the Rings books.
While it does look the like that the game will be a slog to finish, it is confirmed that the players won’t be able to see all of them in a single playthrough. The game will feature a lot of different races with different characters and races. And all of them will have their own different storylines.
It is not wrong to say that the 23 years of wait was worth it. The game will be released on PS5 and PC on August 3. However, Xbox users will have to wait for some extra time. This is mainly because Microsoft demands that the game runs on both Series X and S.
